Dickinson Wright Attorney Allison Bach Named a 2014 Top Young Lawyer by Dbusiness

Bach has been selected as one of six “Top Young Lawyers” by Dbusiness magazine for 2014. Ms. Bach, a member in the firm’s Detroit office, told Dbusiness that while she finds the practice of bankruptcy law rewarding, she admits it can be difficult to remember the other side of a case – which, in most situations, is the borrower. “The challenge is to remember the people,” she says in the profile. “Bankruptcy is a bad situation for everyone involved, but you have to make the best out of that bad situation.”
Ms. Bach’s practice focuses on advising and representing secured lenders and other creditors in out-of-court workouts and restructurings, bankruptcy proceedings and enforcement litigation. Additionally, she has experience in counseling aviation lenders in the repossession and disposition of aircraft.
Ms. Bach is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federal Bar Association – Eastern District Michigan Chapter, the Turnaround Management Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. She also serves as a Board Member for the Michigan Chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. Ms. Bach has been recognized by Michigan Super Lawyers, Michigan Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and has also been listed in Dbusiness Top Lawyers.
She received her B.A. from University of Michigan, her M.S. from Cleveland State University Levin College of Urban Affairs, and her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
