Dickinson Wright Broadens Its Litigation Practice in Nevada
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) March 14, 2014 -- Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that its litigation practice is welcoming four new attorneys in Nevada. Led by Eric Dobberstein, this group also includes Robert A. Groesbeck, J.D. Evans and Rhonda R. Long.

Mr. Dobberstein is a native of Las Vegas and will join Dickinson Wright as a Member. He has been a licensed attorney in the state of Nevada since 1989, and in that time, he has filed over 600 lawsuits. He is recognized as a pre-eminent lawyer with a Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV as well as a 10.0 AVVO rating. He has represented and litigated cases with juries as well as judges before Municipal, Justice, District and Supreme Courts of the State of Nevada as well as Nevada Federal District Court, United States Bankruptcy Court, United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Dobberstein is a member of the Board of Governors for the Nevada Bar Association and serves on the following Nevada Bar committees: Southern Nevada Disciplinary Committee, Fee Dispute Committee, and the Standing Committee on Judicial Ethics and Election Practices. He is also a member of the Nevada Justice Association, the Clark County Bar Association, and the Howard D. McKibben Chapter of the American Inns of Court and is an Order of Justitia Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. He was also the Former Chairman of the Henderson Planning Commission. Mr. Dobberstein received his B.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his J.D. from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Robert A. Groesbeck brings years of litigation experience to Dickinson Wright. He was admitted to the Michigan and Nevada bars as well as the United States District Court, Southern District of Nevada in 1990. For over twenty years, he has held memberships in various professional associations, including the Nevada Bar Association, the Michigan Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is currently the President of the Canada Nevada Business Council. Previously, Mr. Groesbeck also served as the Mayor of the City of Henderson from 1993-1997. He received his B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno, his MBA from National University, and his J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
J.D. Evans brings over 28 years of litigation experience in a wide range of areas to Dickinson Wright. He is admitted to practice before the Nevada bar, the United States District Court, District of Nevada and the Supreme Court of Nevada. He is a member of the Nevada Bar Association, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, the Nevada Justice Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and the Clark County Bar Association. Mr. Evans received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Rhonda R. Long has practiced extensive civil tort law and construction defect law in both State and Federal Court. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the National Bar Association – Las Vegas, and the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys. Ms. Long received her B.A. from DePauw University and her J.D. from Howard University School of Law.
