Dieter & Associates Initiates Charity Campaign to Help Local Family Fighting Childhood Leukemia

Xela Weber was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia – Type B in August of 2014, when she was just six years old. So began a three year program of chemotherapy and other treatments, which Xela’s doctors and devoted family are hoping will result in a cure around the five year mark. Xela travels to Iowa City once a month for checkups and treatment, as well as taking daily oral chemotherapy at home. Despite struggling with sickness, sleeplessness and other unpleasant side effects, Xela still attends school and keeps up with her life.
