Digiday Partners with Wochit for European Publishing Awards Social Video Initiative
New York and London (PRWEB) October 02, 2017 -- Digiday Media and social video platform Wochit today announced a partnership that will bring original social video to enhance the first annual Digiday Publishing Awards Europe Gala. As part of the celebration, each of the award honorees’ winning work will be the focus of a Wochit-produced, short-form video that is optimized for distribution across online, mobile and social channels.
Among the most influential award programs in the industry, Digiday’s Publishing Awards recognize innovation, creativity and excellence in the fields of publishing, content marketing, advertising, advertising technology and video in Europe. The addition of social video strengthens the connection between the media company’s digital and in-person experiences, enabling a holistic experience across properties and channels, including web, email, podcasts and print.
Commented Mike Madarasz of Digiday, “We're a modern media company and video is a modern way of storytelling. We're thrilled to be able to work with Wochit to tell the stories behind our publishing awards Europe winners."
“We are elated that Digiday, which has grown both in influence and reach across the media ecosystem, partnered with Wochit for this unique initiative that bridges the digital and the physical,” said Dror Ginzberg, co-founder and CEO of Wochit. “We’re confident that the addition of video will bring more attention to the great work of the winners’, bringing them to life in a new way.”
The Digiday Publishing Awards Europe Gala will be held October 4, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at The Brewery in London.
