Digital Fireworks on the Toshiba Vision and TDK Screens Paint the Sky Red, White and Blue Above Times Square in Celebration of Independence Day
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 29, 2016 -- Patriotic fireworks lit up One Time Square with a captivating digitally-animated display on Wednesday, June 29th at 2PM for Toshiba and TDK’s annual tribute to Independence Day. The sparkling fireworks display was featured on the Toshiba Vision screens and the TDK screen above the building where the New Year’s Eve Ball drops.
The digitally-animated fireworks, standing 130-feet tall and 400-feet above street level, appeared after a 3, 2, 1 countdown as excitement for the Fourth of July festivities built, beginning an annual holiday tradition for the millions of people expected to visit the Times Square.
The display featured state of the art graphic designs, created for the utmost visual impact in the “Crossroads of the World.” With a twinkling starlit sky as a backdrop, the lighting of the fireworks signaled a traditional Times Square holiday countdown. As the countdown approached “1,” a digital collage of brilliant red, white and blue fireworks, including rockets and roman candles, surrounded a rising American flag, with the iconic New York City skyline as the perfect background. A shimmering “Happy 4th of July 2016” then appeared to complete the patriotic display.

The fireworks will illuminate the summer sky in Times Square through July, 4th, appearing once every five minutes, 24 hours a day. The digital display will run on the Toshiba Vision screen and the TDK screen as the only featured content on July 4th, as a special nod to the holiday.
