Digitalrep Selected by Albertson's LLC and New Albertson's, Inc. for Space Planning & Analysis
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) April 16, 2014 -- Digitalrep LLC, the company that turns data into decisions, announced today that it has been selected by AB Acquisition LLC (Albertsons), which operates stores under Albertson's LLC and New Albertson's, Inc. (NAI), for its space analysis and reporting services for all of their divisions, including Albertsons under Albertson's LLC, and Acme, Jewel-Osco, Shaws, and Star Market under NAI.
Albertson's LLC's legacy stores have been using Digitalrep since Albertson's LLC's inception in 2006. When their parent company completed the acquisition of Albertsons stores throughout the West and Southern California, as well as Chicago-based Jewel-Osco, Philadelphia based ACME Markets, and Boston-based Shaw's and Star Markets, they assessed what the divisions had been using, and ultimately made the decision to use Digitalrep.
The Companies' schematic diagrams - or planograms - are now hosted by Digitalrep - so that their grocery stores throughout the United States can effectively analyze shelf space to assist in inventory control, understanding what's changed over time, and how those changes relate to sales performance. Additionally, Digitalrep provides tools that automate what were once tedious and repetitive tasks, so planogrammers and category managers can focus on strategy and how best to provide what customers want and expect.
