Dignity Health to Open New Freestanding Emergency Room in Surprise, Arizona
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) May 24, 2016 -- Dignity Health has announced it will be opening a new freestanding emergency room in Surprise, Arizona next month. The new facility is licensed under Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital, which opened last year in the West Valley.
Linda Hunt, President and CEO of Dignity Health in Arizona, said that the new facility will complement Dignity Health’s existing hospitals’ emergency departments. “We are focused on providing patients with the best and easiest access to care of any health care system in Arizona and this new facility will help achieve that goal.”
The Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital Emergency Room will be a full-service emergency room, licensed by the state, and open 24-7. The new facility will be staffed by board-certified physicians, emergency trained registered nurses and radiology technologists and equipped with a full radiology suite and an accredited laboratory. Additionally the new emergency room will have full access to Dignity Health’s network of physicians and specialists.
