The Norwalk Area Food Bank is a volunteer and donation-driven organization founded in 2010. Almost 15% of greater Norwalk area residents live below the poverty line, and with the advent of cold winter months the stress of food insecurity always seems to increase. So many families are just one paycheck away from worrying about keeping food on the table, and sudden illness or job loss can easily tip them over the edge. The Food Bank relies on compassionate donations to help provide for all those in need of assistance.
