Direct Capital Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Launch of ‘Small Biz, BIG Success’ Award
Portsmouth, NH (PRWEB) October 02, 2013 -- Small businesses across the country will have the chance to win $10,000 to help fund the project of their choice through a new “Small Biz, BIG Success” award competition sponsored by Direct Capital.
The company - a national provider of equipment leasing, loans and working capital to small businesses - announced the award today as part of its 20th anniversary celebration.
“This award is an opportunity for Direct Capital to show its appreciation of the small business community, which has helped our company grow into a leading nationwide lender over the last two decades.” said Stephen Lankler, senior vice president for the Portsmouth, NH-based company.
Companies will compete for the award by producing videos that explain how they will use the prize money; how they make every interaction with their customers outstanding; their passion, scrappiness, and creative problem-solving skills.
“For many small businesses, $10,000 is enough to tackle a major project, start up a new marketing effort or take on a new opportunity for growth,” said Lankler. “We hope we can give one small business a jump start in 2014 and we really want that company to embody the core values that have helped us succeed.”

Entries should be in the form of a short video. A winner will be selected by a panel of judges from the Direct Capital executive staff and will be based on criteria found here. Small businesses across America will be able to “like” their favorite video, as well.
