Disabled Veteran Shares the Benefits of Dahn Yoga and Meditation with His Community
Gilbert, AZ (PRWEB) November 20, 2013 -- In the November 2013 issue of Dahn Yoga Life, Dahn Yoga & Health Centers, Inc., a national leader in health and wellness introduces Billy Bertrand, a disabled veteran. Bertrand and his wife Emily teach community meditation and Dahn Yoga classes to more than 100 participants at the Navy hospital in Oceanside, California.
The article, “Navy Hospital Healing” shares how Bertrand became impressed with the results of his first introduction to Dahn Yoga practice and signed up that very day. Soon, his wife and teen aged children were also attending classes and enjoying the benefits of Dahn Yoga.
The story centers on how, through Dahn Yoga practice, Bertrand has experienced relief from several documented health problems due to his military service. But it doesn’t end there. Dahn Yoga Life tells how Bertrand and his wife wanted to share what they have learned with others. This desire has grown into classes that benefit the entire community: currently more than 100 people attend classes regularly.
As Bertrand and his wife Emily continue to give to their community. Bertrand shares the comment, “From a health perspective, I believe I have received the most benefit. However, from a larger perspective, we have all become better people and a much more loving, caring and happy family.”
