Disabled Veterans National Foundation Launches New Video from Warrior Games
Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 21, 2014 -- The Disabled Veterans National Foundation, a nonprofit veterans service organization that provides critically needed support to disabled and at-risk veterans who leave the military wounded—physically or psychologically—after defending our safety and our freedom, announced the launch of a new video on its website from the Warrior Games, which took place in September.
The video features a photo slideshow from the various events taking place at the Warrior Games. It also has video messages from veterans who were the beneficiaries of DVNF’s appreciation gift cards.
DVNF was in attendance at the games in Colorado Springs, handing out Visa gift cards and Care Kits to veterans and their families. The organization, in addition to the critical support it offers, feels that this type of outreach is just as important for morale of wounded and disabled veterans, letting them know that their sacrifices have been overlooked.
“We wanted to really give support to these veteran competitors, and this video another way we want to demonstrate how much we appreciate their service,” said DVNF CEO, Joseph VanFonda (USMC SgtMaj Ret.). “I encourage all to watch this video and share it with friends and family, so they may also appreciate all these men and women have given in defense of our country.”
The video is now live on the DVNF website, as well as its Official DVNF You Tube channel.
