Displays & Exhibits Reveals Future Plans to Upgrade Modular Slatwall Products
Tustin, CA (PRWEB) December 22, 2015 -- Displays & Exhibits has announced new plans for its portable modular slatwalls for the upcoming year. In this year’s annual sales report, the company discovered that slatwalls accounted for over 25% of the company’s gross sales. This revelation has prompted the company to assess the success of slatwalls and identify opportunities to innovate for the future.
While plans have remained hidden behind closed doors, a representative from Displays & Exhibits was able to reveal one of the more immediate projects in the works.
“We are thrilled to announce that in the near future, textured graphics upgrades will be available for our slatwalls," said Zenos Adduru, eCommerce Manager at Displays & Exhibits. “Our black and white versions will remain as our standard model, but with our new textured graphics, we will be able to recreate the aesthetics of wood, aluminum, and other textures, while retaining all the benefits of manufacturing with ABS plastics.”
The most common slatwalls for retail and home-use are traditionally made of either wood or aluminum. However, in its research, Displays & Exhibits discovered that recreating its current panels with this material would increase the weight and affect both the product’s portability and structural design. UV printing is a solution that allows the pressmen at Displays & Exhibits to print high-quality graphics directly onto the panels, recreating the look without losing any of its current benefits.
This process is still being developed and finalized, but Displays & Exhibits hopes to have it complete in time for ASD MARKETWeek, a consumer goods trade show in late February.
ASD is a biannual consumer goods trade show where businesses can sell direct to customers and attendees. The show covers many industries and will take place February 28th - March 2nd.
