DiSTI Announces Partnership with Havok to Provide GL Studio Integration into Havok’s Vision Engine

This agreement will allow Havok’s customers to easily create GL Studio HMI content and render this within Havok’s Vision engine. Both DiSTI and Havok will be highlighting this new capability at the IITSEC conference December 1-4 in Orlando, FL.
The Havok Vision Engine is the foundation technology within the Havok Simulation Framework, a cross-platform 3d visualization toolset that provides a powerful and versatile multi-platform runtime technology optimized to render extremely complex scenes at smooth frame rates. The Havok Simulation Framework is a complete end-to-end training solution that accurately simulates air, land and sea environments and leads the market by offering full physics, destruction and AI simulation inside world class visuals. By integrating GL Studio user interface content developers can now introduce an additional level of realism in the cockpits, instrumentation, and dashboards presented to the simulation developer and end user.
