Distron Corporation Receives Apple Authorized MFi Manufacturing License
North Attleborough, MA (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- Distron Corporation is proud to announce that it has officially become an Apple authorized MFi manufacturer. The “Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod” (MFi) licensing program was created by Apple to regulate “third-party hardware accessories that use Apple’s MFI licensed technology to connect electronically to iPhones, iPads, and iPods. Beginning June 1st 2015 Distron Corporation began offering extensive electronic contract manufacturing for third party Apple devices.
For customers everywhere, the Mfi License is a symbol of high quality and compatibility with some of the world’s most popular electronic devices. An MFi Manufacturing License gives Distron the opportunity to work closely with MFi Development Licensee’s in the production and manufacturing of a wide variety of third party Apple products and components. The accessories and technologies included as part of the MFi program include lightning and 30-pin connectors, Airplay audio technology, MFi Hearing Aid technology, Authentication coprocessors, Carplay technology, iPod Accessory Protocols (iAP), and more.
With extensive electronic manufacturing capabilities, expanded manufacturing space, and the acquisition of new automated SMT machinery, Distron Company President, Robert Donovan, is confident that “Distron is a perfect fit for Apple’s MFi Manufacturing License program.
