Diversified Communications Honors Five Employees – Recognition Earned Through Loyalty and Commitment to Values and Founding Vision

The 7 Cs Award, presented to the person who best exemplifies Diversified’s values in the eyes of their peers, was presented to Sethany Roberts, office manager. Diversified’s values (7 Cs) are caring, commitment, community, communication, cooperation/competition, customers and competence.
Three Service Awards, recognizing employees for their dedication and loyalty to Diversified Communications were presented:
5 Year Service Award – Linda McLaughlin, Program Manager
10 Year Service Award – Michelle Roberts, Executive Assistant & Corporate Communications Specialist
20 Year Service Award – Mary Larkin, Executive Vice President
The Governor’s Award, Diversified’s highest honor, was awarded to Imani Clark, Director of Operations and Customer Service, for her superior internal and external customer service skills and strong and lasting business relationships. Ms. Clark has contributed to the success and culture of Diversified for 14 years.
“Since Imani joined the Operations team in 2001, she has excelled at every stage of her development gaining respect and admiration from her team and colleagues through the years,” commented Ted Wirth, President and CEO of Diversified Communications.
The Governor’s Award is granted annually to the person whose service to Diversified embodies the persistence, vision, risk-taking and strong work ethic of Diversified’s founder and former Maine Governor, Horace Hildreth Sr.
“Imani lends quick strategic insight to issues,” praised Diversified’s Executive Vice President, Mike Lodato. “She is always willing to roll up her sleeves and tackle any challenge, while remaining rational and calm even in high pressure situations.”
Former Governor Hildreth was involved in building Diversified Communications for forty years following the purchase of WABI-AM, a radio station in Bangor, Maine in 1949. Paving the road for broadcast media in the Maine, he brought television to the state in the form of WABI-TV, one of Maine’s first stations which signed on 62 years ago, in 1953.
