Diversified Machine Systems (DMS) Welcomes Pikes Peak Community College Intern, Jordan Janzen for International Marketing Outreach Support
Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- Diversified Machine Systems (DMS), a leading designer and manufacturer of 3 axis & 5 axis CNC routers & custom machining centers, welcomes Jordan Janzen to the DMS Sales & Marketing Team during the spring semester. DMS started the custom-designed internship program during the summer of 2013 with a Colorado College student and has committed to continuing this successful program.
DMS has signed a standing agreement with Pikes Peak Community College to continue to offer qualified students opportunities to work hands-on at the new DMS World Headquarters at 1068 Elkton Drive in Colorado Springs to assist the team with the demands of continued growth and global expansion. Interns will help with video production, photography, graphic design, web design, trade show marketing, and inbound marketing, as well as client and distributor support.
Diversified Machine Systems is especially focused on international dealer relations, providing candidates with a unique opportunity to experience this worldwide growth along with DMS.
The program is part of DMS’ objective to help educate Colorado Springs students by providing them with real world experience in the manufacturing and marketing industries.
Each internship will be for the course semester and students will work side-by-side with the in-house team on national and international initiatives.
Jordan Janzen was recommended as an ideal intern candidate and he’s already been adding value to the DMS Team. He has nearly completed his Multimedia Graphic Design coursework with Pikes Peak Community College and is eager to start his career after winning multiple competitions at the college level. His designs had been submitted to the American Advertising Awards, formerly known as the ADDYs, for which he will be receiving one or more awards in February 2014. He sees the internship with Diversified Machine Systems as a way to gain some valuable experience in his field. Jordan has many hobbies such as PC gaming and music, and has been designing since high school. DMS is looking forward to being able to support him by giving him international portfolio work and in-office training.
