Diversified Machine Systems Hosts Local Leaders and Colorado Springs Mayor for Colorado Companies to Watch Award Celebration
Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) December 03, 2014 -- On Friday, November 14th, Diversified Machine Systems, manufacturer of DMS CNC Routers celebrated their Colorado Companies to Watch win with a party at the DMS World Headquarters in Colorado Springs attended by over 130 people.
Each of the 50 winning companies gets a celebration for local leadership, customers and partners. DMS’s event included facility tours, a networking lunch, and a presentation by the Colorado Companies to Watch Board and local elected officials. The guest list included neighboring manufacturers, vendors and customers of DMS, company partners, Colorado Springs City Council and Regional Business Alliance members, and fellow Colorado Companies to Watch Winners.
Not only did attendees join DMS from all around the state of Colorado, but many people came to celebrate from various parts of the country. Jeffrey Lei and Lora Polakow, from Diversified Machine Systems’ strategic business partner, Fagor Automation, attended the event as a show of support to offer their congratulations on behalf of the company.

Presentations included speeches from Bob Cope – from the Colorado Springs Office of Economic Vitality; Amy Lathen – El Paso County Commissioner Vice Chair & Candidate for Mayor; Val Snider – Colorado Springs Council Member; Al Wenstrand – Chief Business Development Officer of the Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance; and Sean Nohavec – Colorado Companies to Watch Board Member and Ambassador.
The next week, Colorado Springs Mayor Steve Bach visited Diversified Machine Systems to celebrate the Colorado Companies to Watch Award. Mayor Bach was given the tour of the DMS World Headquarters to see the growth that DMS has had over the last couple years in Colorado Springs.
