DME Awarded Contract with ANSTO Health for New Radiopharmaceutical Facility in Australia
(PRWEB) July 12, 2016 -- DME, a leader in design engineering for life sciences facilities, has been awarded a contract by the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization (ANSTO) to provide architectural and engineering services for a new ANSTO Health Multipurpose Radiopharmaceutical Facility.
DME has partnered with Jacobs Wyper Architects of Philadelphia, PA, for the development of the master plan for this facility, which will manufacture and advance the use of radiopharmaceuticals to improve the health of Australians.
This project includes development of a Master Plan for the new radiopharmaceutical facility including site selection, layout of the facility, and programming of the space to include cGMP manufacturing, laboratories, support areas, R&D, and storage, as well as the isolators to protect the both the drugs and the people working with them.
