DMV.us.org Creating Guide On How To Evaluate Driving Records
Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 31, 2013 -- DMV.us.org is set to launch a guide that will explain to potential employers the best way to evaluate the driving reports they purchase, the company said yesterday.
“One of the most common reasons that people purchase driving records from us is to evaluate whether or not a potential employee is a safe driver,” a DMV.us.org spokesman said. “But many of those people have no idea what context in which to put the information they receive. We want to provide that context so they can make the best decisions possible.”
DMV.us.org said that some people have contacted them when trying to figure out how serious negative information on the reports they receive are.
“If you see a bunch of violations, you may be put off at first,” he said. “But if the majority of those violations end up being parking tickets, that may just be indicative of an overzealous traffic officer. And one or two speeding tickets over a long period of time is also no big deal. But a couple of drunk driving convictions would be more serious.”
The DMV.us.org guide will give employers explanations of the most common type of driving infractions, and information about the average amount of infractions received by good and bad drivers.
“By giving employers various benchmarks, they will have a better idea of if they can trust this person to be behind the wheel and represent their company,” he said. “We think this will be a very valuable service.”
