DMV.us.org to Give People the Choice of Accessing State Or Federal Driving Records
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- DMV.us.org is changing the way their search system works in order to give people a choice of looking up records nationally or in an individual state, the company announced yesterday.
“In the past, we had one search level that gave customers the chance to see records from all 50 states,” a DMV.us.org spokesman said. “But sometimes that gave people more data than they really needed. If they only need information from an individual state, they don't want to wade through a ton of extra records, so now they will have the choice of what type of search service they want.”
Selecting a national or state search will not affect the price of the driving history report, he said.
“This is a chance for someone who wants to find out about their driving record in a specific state to get that information as easily as possible,” he said. “We are not trying to find a way to charge people extra money. We simply want to provide them with a more tailored form of service.”
People will be given the option of what type of search they want to perform before they access the database, he said.
“It's just a matter of clicking what you want,” he said. “We think that people are going to be really excited that we are giving them more freedom of choice. It's a better value for everyone involved.”
