Administrators are now able to dig deeper into their logs and gain valuable insights into how end-users are querying their records. The update will expand users’ views of their networks and allow them to analyze larger amounts of data at a time.

Real-Time Stats allow users to see which of their records are being queried over a set period of time. Users can filter queries based on location, record type, which protocol they are using, and whether end-users are using IPv4 or IPv6 connectivity. RTS helps users analyze their query data in an actionable dashboard to troubleshoot traffic abnormalities and even anticipate DNS-based attacks.
The logs used in RTS are metrics all service providers have access to, but rarely take advantage of. That’s because the amount of data that RTS generates is massive and most providers don’t want to invest in the storage requirements needed to store the query logs.
