DoD Patriot Award Presented to Virsys12 CEO Tammy Hawes
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) July 27, 2015 -- Virsys12 CEO and Founder Tammy Hawes was presented with a Patriot Award on July 17th by the Department of Defense office for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Hawes was nominated by Brennan Mason, marketing coordinator for Virsys12 and a member of the US Army Reserve, and the presentation was made by Joe Martin, ESGR Employer Outreach Director.
The Patriot Award recognizes efforts made by employers to support Guard and Reserve service members through a wide range of measures. In nominating Hawes for the award, Mason said, “Tammy took my service record into account when considering me for the position and is always accommodating to any Reserve duties I may have while working here. She has also made my dual commitment part of Virsys12’s culture, ensuring easy continuity when I may be gone for service obligations.”
