DODOcase and Stikwood Introduce the “Charging Nest” for Today’s Smartphones
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 19, 2014 -- The unique collaboration between DODOcase, the creator of the original book-bound iPad case and Stikwood, real wood peel and stick décor company, is set to launch at Los Angeles’ Dwell on Design show on June 20th. The future-proof Charging Nest will work with all phone devices including the new Apple iPhone 6, which is scheduled to launch later this year. The two Northern Californian companies share many of the same values and have created a docking system that is made from all natural materials, features a timeless design and will allow users a way to charge their phone devices regardless of which model they own.
“We are really excited to work with Stikwood, a company that shares the same love for natural materials and commitment to making quality products here in the US,” says DODOcase CEO Craig Dalton. “We have come together to build the most timeless device dock ever. We like to say it’s the only dock that won’t go extinct!”
Each nest has been created with the rapid growth of technology in mind. While a users device changes so frequently, it’s ideal to have a single charging unit that would be universal and suitable for whichever device they own. The Charging Nests are made out of reclaimed California orchard walnut trees that carry a sleek and simple look. Each piece has unique coloring and characteristics that represent the environment that the tree was thrived in. The charging docks are then carefully wrapped with logger’s leather to complete the look.
The collaboration will appear at the Dwell on Design show where six Charging Nests will available for conference attendees to charge any types of phone and tablet devices. The show will run from June 20th-22nd and will be located at the LA Convention Center. The new Charging Nests are available for purchase for $99 and are available on the DODOcase website, http://www.dodocase.com/.
