The site was launched in time for United Way Women’s Leadership Council’s third annual Power of the Purse event on June 3rd, and featured specially designed Gives Back bracelets in honor of the event.
Designed by renowned jewelry line ElyseRyan, these exclusive cuff bracelets are assembled by students in Easter Seals School-to-Life transition program, which allows students and young adults with developmental disabilities gain valuable skills and give back to their community. "The Easter Seals School-to-Life transition program is such an important and inspiring program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and it has been extremely rewarding to play a part in its development," said Donaldson Group's Jim Kieffer, VP of Digital Marketing.
Working closely with Easter Seals, Donaldson Group designed and built a mobile-friendly, e-commerce website to support the purchase of the Gives Back bracelets, and ultimately, the Gives Back program. “The user-friendly website that we’ve created will help Easter Seals reach a wider audience, ultimately helping to bring more value, awareness and activity to the program” said Jim Kieffer. For each $35 bracelet sold, Easter Seals will be donating $10 to United Way; one of their many charity partnerships.
