DORMA to Host Last Minute Learning Lab
New York, New York (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- DORMA’s Design Center, will be hosting the Last Minute Learning Lab—two solid days of CEU-accredited learning—at the Design Center in New York City on December 9 and 10. As 2014 draws to a close, DORMA’s Last Minute Learning Lab will provide the architectural community with the last few continuing education credits they need for the year.
With two full days of AIA-approved courses to choose from, attendees can earn up to twelve learning units. The courses are offered on a range of topics including operable wall systems, structural glass, specifying design intent, safety and security, high performance coatings, fenestration, and sustainability.
Attendees earn one LU/HSW AIA credit per course.
The courses currently offered are:
Operable Wall Systems (presented by Modernfold); Innovations in Structural Glass (presented by Jeff Haber & Chris LaLonde of Pilkington); Specifying Design Intent (presented by David Stutzman of Conspectus); Glass Fabrication and Design Issues (presented by Mike Nicklas of JE Berkowitz); Safety & Security Using Locks, Exit Devices, Key Systems (presented by Spencer Colvin of DORMA); Interior Glass Office Front Systems (presented by Kelley Douglass of DORMA); High Performance Architectural Coatings (presented by Mary Hosley of PPG); Storefront Windows, Window Wall, Curtain Wall - What's the Difference? (presented by David Stutzman of Conspectus); Automatic and Revolving Doors (presented by Arnie Kravitz of DORMA); Sustainability (presented by Susan Kaplan of HLW Architects); and Architectural Glass, Resin Materials & Configurations (presented by Jeff Matles of Lumivisions).
