DORN Names Kevin Lombardo as President and CEO
DENVER, CO (PRWEB) November 29, 2016 -- DORN Companies (DORN), providers of worksite pain management programs, today names Kevin Lombardo President and CEO, and member of the company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Lombardo brings years of executive leadership with some of the nation’s most recognized Fortune 500 and privately held companies. In this role, he will expand DORN’s nationwide footprint, which now includes 100 therapists in over 40 locations, and lead the development of new solutions, technologies and partnerships to further eliminate pain from the American workforce.
Lombardo joined DORN in August of 2015 as President and has spearheaded the company’s Total Worker Health (TWH) model, bringing together wellness and risk management within a holistic early intervention framework. This has proven to be an effective approach in preventing, managing and eliminating the musculoskeletal discomfort and pain which undermine employee engagement, performance and overall productivity. DORN’s early interventions are designed to preempt the need for doctor’s visits or more involved therapies.
“We are fortunate to have someone with Kevin’s background, accomplishments and proven leadership in the CEO role,” said Dell Dorn, Founder of DORN. “His contributions over this last year have helped to position our business for tremendous growth, as we continue to bring innovative pain management solutions to market.”
DORN’s innovative healthcare solutions empower individuals to improve and sustain optimal health, well-being and quality of life while delivering substantial savings to organizations nationally. They are easily incorporated into both Risk Management and Wellness programs and are designed to prevent workers’ compensation claims and costs, decrease health care claims and costs, lower medication usage and reduce OSHA recordables. DORN's solutions include PainRelief™ Therapy, HeadacheClinic™, Pain-Free™ Back Therapy and StretchRevitalization.™
“I am thrilled to be part of such a great team,” said Kevin Lombardo. “I look forward to a great future for DORN’s customers and teammates as we expand our Total Worker Health solutions. I am excited about the opportunity and will continue to turn to Dell for the wisdom that he brings to this business in his capacity as Chairman."

About DORN
DORN was founded in 1998 to help employers save money on workers' compensation claims and reduce OSHA recordables. DORN provides highly skilled manual therapists to work on site and treat employees with workers' compensation claims. In the mid 2000s, DORN expanded our business model to include an early intervention/prevention approach. The company now treats employees with pain before they develop an injury and file a workers' compensation claim. The vast majority of these employees are relieved of pain over a series of DORN therapy sessions and never escalate to file a claim or require other treatment modalities. Since its inception DORN has relieved the pain of over 30,000 employees nationwide, saving organizations in excess of $50 million dollars.
Today, due to the success of the therapy and a shift of focus to early prevention and intervention, the DORN programs have organically expanded into proactive wellness benefits. Delivering quality care and outcomes for employees translates to measurable bottom line results for employers. DORN's mission is to create, implement and manage healthcare solutions that empower individuals and organizations to improve and sustain optimal health, well-being and quality of life.
