Double A Paper Holds ‘Find KHAN-NA in Seoul’ Event
Seoul, South Korea (PRWEB UK) 29 April 2014 -- Premium quality copy paper company Double A (http://www.doubleapaper.com) and the Seoul Metropolitan City plan to find vacant spaces throughout the Seoul City area and plant some 4,000 trees and flowers. All stages of the campaign from finding, choosing, planting, and nurturing trees will be carried out with the participation of Seoulites.
Special lucky draw prizes will be given to selected participants. The prizes include five eco-friendly bicycles and five hundred KHAN-NA kits which include a tree sapling for planting, a tumbler for watering, a mini shovel, and a signpost with the tree’s name on it.
In addition to this, among the KHAN-NA Expedition group, top expedition members who win the competition during tree planting activities will be given an opportunity to experience the real benefits of KHAN-NA in Thailand.
Mr. Thirawit Leetavorn, Senior Executive Vice President of Double A said, “Double A’s Paper from KHAN-NA business model creates shared value for both community and organizations. Double A hopes to raise the awareness of KHAN-NA (unused space) in Seoul city by conducting this socially beneficial campaign.”
KHAN-NA is a Thai word that refers to the unused spaces in between rice paddy fields. Farmers account for more than 40% of Thai population and planting paper-tree saplings in their KHAN-NA and selling it back to Double A after 3-5 years provides the farmers with an additional source of income. Double A’s KHAN-NA model contributes to the sustainable development of the organization, environment and community.
