Doug Reuter Follows Up SEQUENCE® with QB8™ App for iPad
(PRWEB) February 27, 2014 -- Doug Reuter, famed inventor of the board game SEQUENCE®, proudly introduces the iPad App version of QB8™! Players combine intricate strategy with cards, dice, and uniquely designed cubes. It is available in the iTunes App Store for $1.99.
Up to four players can participate in a game of QB8™. One player can compete against the iPad, or two to four players can play by passing the iPad around. To win, a player must have two cubes of each color, and the numbers on those eight cubes must add up to 28.
The game features 48 Game Cubes: 12 each of red, blue, green, and black. Each cube also displays a numeral between 1 and 6. Players collect cubes one at a time.
Players receive six cards at the beginning of the game. Players can obtain a cube either by matching a card from their hand with the same color and number of a face-up cube or by rolling the dice.
Depending on the result of the roll, the player might be obligated to forfeit a cube, take a cube of their choice, or be allowed to take a cube from another player.
At the end of each turn, players have the option to discard one cube. Players can also pass without obtaining a cube if none of their cards or dice match an available cube.
QB8™ includes three hints on winning the game directly from its creator, Doug Reuter.
As the inventor of SEQUENCE®, a best-selling game since 1982, Reuter brings a keen strategic mind to this new game.
Doug Reuter stated, “I believe QB8™ will prove to be extremely popular. Of all the people who test played QB8™ during its development, I’m still looking for the first person who does not like QB8™!”
QB8™ was developed for Doug Reuter by Zco Corporation, one of the largest app development companies in the world.
