Douglas County and Cobb County HVAC Company Assured Comfort Heating and Air Supports Local Public Education Trust and Career Institute

The HVAC company recently donated $1,000 to Douglas County College and Career Institute (CCI) for the purchase of laptop cases. At CCI, educators seek to provide students with nontraditional approaches to learning and career preparation, helping them thrive and increasing their likelihood to seek higher education and vocational opportunities. Assured Comfort also supports the Douglas County Schools Public Education Trust (PET). The PET was established by business leaders in the community to provide extra financial support for the school system. Through contributions from generous individuals, companies and community organizations, the PET is able to award thousands of dollars in grants to help students and educators for special interests and projects not already supported by government funding. As a PET board member, owner of Assured Comfort Jerry Hall donated $2,500 this year to fund Douglas County Schools mini-grants. These mini-grants are awarded to individual teachers, grades or subjects to fund classroom improvements and other educational ventures.
