Douglas Hirsch Group Plays Live at Temple Emanu-El Miami Beach Florida March 1, 2015, at 7 p.m.
Miami Beach Florida (PRWEB) January 30, 2015 -- The concert will feature songs written by Douglas Hirsch along with some classic Jewish Nigun and Songs. It will be a spiritual journey through a fusion of blues, country, Jewish and world music.
“I want to explore the similar textures, harmonies and melodies shared by all of the styles of music I play.”
Douglas will be joined by a fabulous group of musicians, including Rabbi Marc Philippe of Temple Emanu-El. The audience will hear a well coordinated and improvised evening of music that will speak to their hearts.

The instrumentation will include Latin percussion, accordion, bass, flute and Doug’s Guitars. The audience will encounter various combinations of instruments, bringing to life amazing sonic paintings. Doug will play different instruments from his collection.
Douglas Hirsch has been playing guitar and writing music for 37 years.He has been a sideman on many recordings and in many concerts. He received a BA in Music Composition from Western State College of Colorado in 1985. In 2009 Douglas formed the Douglas Hirsch Group and began to write the songs that will be played in this show. He is in the process of recording his first record as a frontman.
