Doveline Press Launches Book Titled "9/11: How America Changed"

Titled “9/11: How America Changed,” the book has been launched by Doveline Press and is available now.
Smarth’s book provides insights, facts and observations about the changing face of America in a post-9/11 world, delving into military and foreign policy developments as well as current affairs impacting on America’s present and future course as a functioning Republic. In one of the book’s beginning chapters, Smarth discusses events and occurrences surrounding the 9/11 investigation that are not part of the official government narrative; includes pertinent information pertaining to the 9/11 Commission’s treatment of these complicated issues, and the Jersey Girls, who were instrumental in pushing forth key developments and input as the investigation proceeded.
The book puts forth an all-inclusive overview concerning the War on Terror, pre-emptive wars and America’s overzealous involvement in regional conflicts abroad, highlighting policies and actions relating to America’s allies and foes, including the Saudi Arabia-Israel sphere of influence on American foreign policy. The book also alludes to the corporate mainstream media’s failure to provide fair and balanced coverage of significant issues that impact on life and death issues.
“9/11: How America Changed” discusses national security “blowback” through the continuation of America’s occupations, military and foreign policy entanglements, targeted assassinations through drone strikes since 9/11 and the effects that such pursued policies have on the rise of radical Islamic terrorism.
Smarth’s latest book also highlights the origins of ISIS, extraordinary renditions and CIA black sites, the use of torture, Guantanamo, NSA surveillance of citizens through metadata collection, encroachments on free speech and dissent, the general erosion of civil liberties, the rise of police state tactics, the increased influence of an “oligarchy” and the existence of a “Deep State.”
The actions of “whistleblowers” like NSA contractor Edward Snowden, Army Intelligence Officer Pfc. Bradley (“Chelsea”) Manning, former CIA official John Kiriakou, and Julian Assange of Wikileaks are highlighted. Interesting perspectives by General David Patraeus, General James Mattis, and other past presidential administration officials are presented concerning Middle East countries as well as other foreign affairs issues. The book recalls Brigadier General Smedley Butler’s perspectives in 1935 about war’s insanity and the real profiteers of war-making. Retired Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, former chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell, is also cited concerning his acknowledgement about the economic profiting that resulted from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as the War on Terror and counterterrorism. Commentary by Pope Francis is provided concerning a failing economic system, “a system that to survive has to make war, as the big empires have always done.” The origins of the “private” Federal Reserve Bank are summarized as well as the need for more transparency in its financing of foreign banks and countries.
