Dr. Anurag Agarwal Honored as One of Naples' "Super Men"
Naples, FL (PRWEB) September 16, 2014 -- Dr. Anurag Agarwal, M.D., F.A.C.S., has been named one of Naples’ “Super Men” in the September 2014 issue of Naples Illustrated magazine. Dr. Agarwal is the owner and medical director of the Aesthetic Surgery Center in Naples where he has gained an impeccable reputation for his work as a facial plastic surgeon. Not only is Dr. Agarwal respected for his cosmetic work, but he also reconstructed the faces of those inflicted by trauma, as well as helped patients with large wounds secondary to cancer removal. A native of Washington, D.C., Dr. Agarwal arrived in Naples nine years ago where he began work as a facial plastic surgeon for the Aesthetic Surgery Center.
In addition to Naples Illustrated honoring Dr. Agarwal for his work with the Aesthetic Surgery Center, they also recognized him for his involvement in the Naples community. Dr. Agarwal has donated countless hours to Habitat for Humanity of Collier County, and serves as a member of The Shelter for Abused Women & Children’s Domestic Violence Task Force. He also donates his medical skills as a volunteer physician with the Neighborhood Health Clinic.

Dr. Agarwal is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He was also selected by his fellow peers to serve as President of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 2011 to 2012. Furthermore Dr. Agarwal’s influence stretches well beyond Naples as he has been featured on such national newscasts as ABC News, NBC News, FOX News, and Wink TV as an expert within the field of facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Agarwal is also a member of the prestigious International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). His proficiency in helping bring new life to those with facial injuries came from his training in head and neck surgery. In Atlanta, he pursued sub-specialty fellowship training exclusively in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and served as a clinical instructor at the Emory University School of Medicine. He was also recognized in 2005 for scholastic excellence in the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery examination.
One of the keys to Dr. Agarwal’s success is his focus on openly educating and communicating with his patients about cosmetic facial surgery. He recognizes that all patients that desire facial rejuvenation do so with the hope of minimal downtime and a non-invasive approach.
