Dr. Bria Bliss Releases ‘Breaking Free of Bullying’
SUNSET BEACH, Calif. (PRWEB) July 27, 2017 -- There was a time when Dr. Bria Bliss’ teaching job of 20 years was threatened by a strong-willed principal who targeted her because this principal did not like her demeanor and who aspired to climb up the administrative ladder to the district office as superintendent. That situation in conjunction with her earlier bullying days and her daughters’ experiences with bullying prompted her to write “Breaking Free of Bullying” (published by Balboa Press).
The interactive book is written for children, teenagers and adults who feel they are being bullied in some way or another. It will ask emotional questions that are meant to provoke deep reflection. Through the use of mindfulness education, it will allow readers to write out their feelings, ideas and imaginary details. Likewise, it will give them an opportunity to express the true emotions they are experiencing with those who are bullying them.
“Bullying affects all types of people, through all types of social encounters,” Bliss points out. “Schools and businesses may have anti-bullying policies put in place, but there is no real action that follows. This book empowers the victim to act according to their needs and offers strategies to move forward in a positive direction.”
Through deliberate thought, readers can practice breaking free of their bullying and bullying situations. And further mindfulness coaching can be accessed through the website MindfullYourLife.org.
