Dr Delphinium Hosts Ribbon Cutting at New Flower & Orchid House in Richardson
DALLAS, TX (PRWEB) February 02, 2014 -- Dr Delphinium Designs and Events, Dallas' premier florist, hosted a ribbon cutting for their new location in Richardson TX. Held at Dr Delphinium's Flower & Orchid House, a Richardson florist and the largest orchid greenhouse in North Texas, the ribbon cutting was a final step in the location's transition to new ownership under Dr Delphinium.
Attended by the Richardson Chamber of Commerce members, as well as Richardson's Mayor, Laura Maczka, the ribbon cutting emphasized Dr Delphinium's commitment to community involvement and bringing quality products and services to Richardson and its surrounding areas.
"This expansion has been fantastic for us and the customers that have been loyal to us for over 25 years," said Charles Ingrum, owner and general manager of Dr Delphinium. "Customers share their excitement about our new location daily. Last year over 80 different organizations received donations of flowers, awareness marketing, or cash donations from Dr Delphinium and it's employees. Its that kind of community appreciation we plan on continuing in Richardson."
Dr Delphinium's signature floral designs are available at the Flower & Orchid House, along with their own orchid designs featuring blooming phalaenopsis, cattleya and more. "The phalaenopsis will be blooming just in time for Valentine's Day," explained Ingrum. "This is our most dynamic, bold, and beautiful Valentine's collection yet. Starting Feb. 3, flowers will be flown in daily from farms all over the world so our patrons can expect unparalleled floral varieties, quality, and freshness available exclusively to Dr Delphinium customers."
Dr Delphinium's Flower & Orchid House is also preparing for Orchid Month in March of 2014 when over 10,000 orchid plants will be in bloom. The Orchid House's famous Open House is planned for March 28, 29, and 30.
