Dr. Kevin Sattele and the Rapid Weight Loss & Esthetics Centers Announces Sixth Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to Benefit the Manna House
Florence, SC (PRWEB) November 18, 2014 -- Rapid Weight Loss and Esthetics Centers is holding a food drive to support The Manna House, a local soup kitchen and food bank, from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30 at its Florence and North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, locations. Patients who bring in a certain number of non-perishable items for the Thanksgiving Food Drive will be eligible for discounts on popular services at Rapid Weight Loss and Esthetics Centers.
The food drive began over six years ago when Dr. Kevin M. Sattele, M.D. at Rapid Weight Loss and Esthetics Centers, sought a program that would help his business give back to the community. Today, Dr. Sattele's goal is for the Thanksgiving Food Drive to donate enough food this year to help The Manna House through the holidays and well into the New Year.
Dr. Sattele explained the decision to give to The Manna House, saying that it provides an easy way for himself and his patients to give back to the community and the less fortunate.
"We enjoy helping The Manna House because they do such a great job feeding the people who don't have enough food to eat," he said. Last year, The Manna House served more than 49,000 meals and donated food to more than 1,200 families.
Dr. Sattele also said that holding the drive at these two locations also offers convenience for those who want to participate. "Having the food drive at our two office locations is easier for patients because the offices are a great central location. This ensures that patients don't have to think about what other locations and companies are conducting food drives."
Patients who bring in three or more non-perishable food items will receive special promotions and discounts on Botox, Zerona Laser, Laser/Light Treatments and HCG Weight Loss. Those who bring in six or more items will also receive a free 30-day supply of the Body Focus Essentials Hair, Skin and Nail Formula.
Dr. Sattele's weight loss programs are designed to trigger belly fat, and they vary from services for people who want to lose 10 to 15 pounds to those losing 30 or more. "It's really life-changing for our clients," said Dr. Sattele, a board certified family practitioner who has been doing weight loss and aesthetics for nine years.
Rapid Weight Loss and Esthetics Centers also offer facial rejuvenation, skin tightening and hair removal treatments. Dr. Sattele's practice also offers a free weight loss and body shaping consultation to area residents who would like to learn more about his program.
Although the Rapid Weight Loss Program are the most popular services at Rapid Weight Loss and Esthetics Centers, there is another treatment that Dr. Sattele sees more around Thanksgiving. "During this time of year, we see the number of patients seeking Botox double -- even triple -- because they're all getting ready for the holidays," he said.
The Manna House, which began operating in 1986, is a soup kitchen that provides breakfast and a hot lunch five days a week and an emergency food bank to anyone who needs these services. The soup kitchen is able to seat more than 100 people at a time, and the emergency food pantry provides a two-week food supply to those who need it.
