Earlier this year, Dr. Leipziger was listed in the 2018 edition of “America's Top Doctors,” which seeks to identify the best specialists in the country. Physicians who appear on the list are among the top one percent of specialists around the country, according to the publisher, Castle Connolly. The selection process, based on peer nominations, includes surveys of physicians and healthcare professionals who are asked to identify excellent doctors in every specialty in their region and nationwide. Dr. Leipziger has impressive credentials, having trained at some of the finest medical institutions in the United States. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University, he went on to receive his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. He completed his residency in plastic surgery at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Leipziger was then awarded a fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.
