Dr. Robert Marcus Joins the TrustHCS Consulting Team
Springfield, MO (PRWEB) November 15, 2013 -- Dr. Robert Marcus has joined the TrustHCS Consulting team. Operating as a Physician Consultant, Dr. Marcus will play a critical role in content refinement, creation and delivery for ICD-10, Clinical Documentation Improvement and Physician Practice Services from TrustHCS.
Leading up to the ICD-10 go-live date of October 1, 2014, documentation is increasingly becoming a chief focus area for many TrustHCS clients. Adding to the consulting and education team the expertise of Dr. Marcus is part of a purposeful plan to increase the effect of training and education provided from TrustHCS to providers. Dr. Marcus has a long history preparing peers for EHR roll-out and system adoption. His proven capability to engage, motivate and transition providers through complicated yet critical topics was central to the decision to add him to the TrustHCS team.
“Provider documentation will help dictate the success or failure of healthcare organizations’ transition to ICD-10,” stated TrustHCS President, Torrey Barnhouse. “In 2014 many are focusing on efforts to educate physicians and other clinicians on the critical nature of improved documentation specificity in ICD-10. With the addition of Dr. Marcus, we have rounded out the education, auditing, and clinical expertise and team approach we provide our clients.”
Dr. Marcus will serve as an expert clinical resource in the array of TrustHCS Consulting Services, including ICD-10 Education, Physician Practice Services, and Clinical Documentation.
