Dr. Rod J. Rohrich Brings Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium Course to China
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) September 07, 2017 -- Internationally renowned rhinoplasty surgeon and Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium Chairman, Dr. Rod J. Rohrich, recently brought the prominent course to Shanghai, China, marking the first time the Meeting has been exported in its entirety to another country.
The meeting was held in conjunction with three international meetings, The 4th Chinese Academic Conference on Adipose Medicine, The International Symposium on Adipose Transplantation, and The Foundation of Chinese Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Over 1000 participants, including plastic surgeons and cosmetic physics from around the world, participated in the event.
The Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium is an educational event for rhinoplasty surgeons that covers a wide range of special topics in rhinoplasty surgery from how to analyze the nose and plan a primary rhinoplasty to the fundamentals of successful secondary or revision rhinoplasty surgery. Many presentations focus on the latest refinements in surgical technique to ensure safe and reproducible results.
"I am thrilled to be able to bring this meeting to an international audience," says Dr. Rohrich. "The popularity of the Dallas Rhinoplasty meeting demonstrates the immense interest in the didactic, interactive teaching methods that have been in use there for years."
In addition to the Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium's unique cadaver lab, the program also included 2 live surgery procedures demonstrating the use of the open approach to rhinoplasty, popularized by the Symposium and its accompanying medical text, Dallas Rhinoplasty: Nasal Surgery by the Masters.
"The open approach gives surgeons a direct view of and access to the underlying structures of the nose, allowing for much greater precision and care, improving results, and overall patient satisfaction," explains Dr. Rohrich. "This meeting demonstrated that the key concepts in rhinoplasty can be applied internationally to further the use of techniques that provide safer and more consistent outcomes for all patients."
The 2018 Dallas Rhinoplasty Meeting, will take place from March 2nd and 3rd at The Westin Galleria in Dallas, Texas.
