Dr. Ron Greenspan has Been Selected by his peers for the 2013 Best of San Diego Award in the Orthodontists Category by topDentists as Published in San Diego Magazine
San Diego, California (PRWEB) December 25, 2013 -- After over 30 years of crafting smiles for Californians, Dr. Ron Greenspan has once again been recognized by his peers as the best in San Diego. Thousands of dentists in San Diego were asked:

The nomination pool of orthodontists consisted of those listed with the American Association of Orthodontists as well as those listed online through their local dental societies. Voters are asked to individually evaluate the practitioners on their ballot whose work they are familiar with. Once the balloting is completed, the scores are compiled and then averaged. The numerical average required for inclusion varies depending on the average for all the nominees within the specialty and the geographic area. Voting characteristics and comments are taken into consideration while making decisions. Past awards a dentist has received, status in various dental academies played a factor in the decision.
Once the decisions have been finalized, the included dentists are checked against state dental boards for disciplinary actions and to make sure they have an active license and are in good standing with the board. Then letters of congratulations are sent to all the listed dentists.
Dr. Ron Greenspan has some other impressive credentials under his belt--a Harvard graduate, Ron Greenspan has served as Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, and Clinical Professor of Orthodontics at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. He's also earned some prominent publishing credits; notably, Greenspan is a contributor to the American Journal of Orthodontics and the Journal of Dental Research. Today, he has returned to his alma mater as a member of the Dean's Advisory Board at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
