Dr Roy David Featured on "The Doctors" for Mini Facelift
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 27, 2014 -- San Diego plastic surgeon Dr. Roy David recently appeared on the nationally syndicated The Doctors daytime TV show to discuss his approach to rejuvenating the jowls and neck. His procedure, dubbed the La Jolla Lift, involves tightening the deeper tissues of the face to re-position loose skin and fat while the patient remains comfortably sedated using twilight anesthesia.
The La Jolla Lift is different from other face lifting procedures in that it provides comprehensive facial rejuvenation without the need for general anesthesia. The Doctors crew followed Dr. David’s patient, Joan, age 54, as she underwent the procedure in San Diego. Joan was concerned about loose skin in her neck and the loss of her once refined jawline. Dr. David explained to Joan that he would address these areas in approximately two hours without the need for general anesthesia. Cameras then followed Joan into the operating room where she was seen to be comfortably speaking with her surgeon during the procedure. 2 weeks later she appeared on national TV to show off her amazing results.
Dr. David stresses the importance of choosing a qualified , board certified facial plastic surgeon with years of experience. Very few surgeons are comfortable performing a “deep plane” facelift with twilight anesthesia, however it is this type of lift that gives the longest lasting and most natural results.
