Dr. Sheldon Cho Returns to Physician Partners of America - Rockledge
ROCKLEDGE, Fla. (PRWEB) May 03, 2018 -- Physician Partners of America (PPOA), a national healthcare company, announces that Sheldon Cho, M.D., has returned to practice in Florida’s Space Coast. After spending a year growing the company’s newer clinic in Winter Haven, he is now practicing pain management at 211 Coral Sands Drive, Suite A, Rockledge, FL 32955.
“Dr. Cho lent his considerable experience and leadership to establishing the new Winter Haven practice,” said Tracie Lawson, PPOA president and chief operations officer. “Now he has returned to an area where he spent many years. We know his Space Coast patients will be glad to have him back.”
He joins Dr. Jorge Fernandez-Silva in the Rockledge practice. Taking his place in the Winter Haven clinic is Dr.Lesco Rogers, who joined PPOA April 9.
Dr. Cho is board-certified is anesthesiology with sub-specialty qualifications in interventional pain medicine and substance abuse. He earned his medical degree at Seoul (South Korea) National University College of Medicine. He completed by this residency and anesthesiology internship at Nassau University Medical Center Department of Surgery, Long Island, N.Y. Dr. Cho then completed a cancer pain medicine fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Anesthesiology Department in New York, N.Y. He continued his medical career as a clinical instructor at the University of Rochester Medical Center, specializing in anesthesia regional block and pain medicine.
After teaching and working in New York and California for several years, he joined the Physician Partners of America Pain Relief Group clinic in Merritt Island.
The company has expanded its presence in the Space Coast area from one center to three, and will open a state-of-the-art 13,500-square-foot medical pavilion later this year in Merritt Island.
Dr. Cho’s key interests include cancer pain management, spinal cord stimulator trial and implant, spine kyphoplasty, RFA, facet joint block, and epidural block.
