Dream Spectrum Media Announces Its Launch of New Podcast "One Hit Wondering" — Now Available on iTunes!

One Hit Wondering is a new music podcast that tries to give the neglected parent that gave birth to the beautiful baby some much-needed attention. We talk about the artists, their stories and a breakdown of the album that gave rise to the one hit for which the artists became known.
The show is recorded in Abilene, Texas and features interviews and guests from around the globe.

New episodes are released the first Tuesday of every month. The show is geared primarily towards listeners in the 30-50 age range, but it also offers anecdotes and music that could appeal to those at any age.
A Closer Look
In the most recent episode, pop culture writer for USA Today, Whitney Mattheson, joined One Hit Wondering to focus on two iconic bands from the 80s and 90s: Londoners Bow Wow Wow with their smash ‘I Want Candy’ and Scottish singer-songwriter Edwyn Collins who came to fame with his hit ‘A Girl Like You.’ The show includes an interview with the singer from Bow Wow Wow, Annabella Lwin, who shares some insights and stories about her experiences in the band.
Podcast host John Mark Lapham says, “Our aim is both to illuminate people to these often forgotten landmarks in pop history, and also have a laugh as we look at the highs and lows of the music at hand.”
Past guests have included music journalists and authors, and featured interviews with the musicians responsible for some legendary pop songs. Future episodes will have writers, songwriters and others from the entertainment field chiming in to give their takes on the music or their experiences in the business.
