DreamsCloud Launches DreamsWatch, a New Android Wear Lucid Dreaming Tool and Dreams Recorder App for Smartwatches
MIAMI, FLORIDA (PRWEB) July 28, 2015 -- DreamsCloud, the world’s leading online dream resource, launched DreamsWatch (Beta) today, a new Android Wear smartwatch app that allows users to easily voice record their dreams, play them back, and improve their ability to lucid dream through the use of a ‘Lucid Alarm,’ which provides helpful lucid dreaming vibration cues.
The DreamsWatch app leverages today’s newest wearable technology by making it convenient for users to quickly voice record their dream’s details upon waking, while the details are still fresh in their minds, which also helps to improve dream recall. Moreover, users are able to upload recordings directly from the watch to a free account, in addition to the ability to listen to or download their voice recorded dreams.
“Logging and understanding our dreams can have such a significant impact on our overall mental health and wellbeing,” said Jean-Marc Emden, CEO and Co-Founder of DreamsCloud. “The DreamsWatch app was designed with absolute simplicity in mind, as we wanted to create an app that provides users with a helpful companion for easily logging their dreams and keeping track of them, along with empowering users to discover the meaning and connection that dreams have to our waking life events and emotions.”
The DreamsWatch (Beta) Android Wear app features include:
• Dreams Voice Recorder: Users can quickly and easily voice record their dreams directly from their wrist while the dream’s details are still fresh in their minds. Research has also shown that the more often you log your dreams, the more you condition your subconscious to improve dream recall, and that it’s recommended to log your dreams as soon as you wake up and with minimal movement.
• Lucid Alarm: The DreamsWatch includes a helpful ‘Lucid Alarm’ that can be used to both awaken you, as well as be used as a lucid dreaming cue. Through gentle vibration, a common lucid dreaming cue, the ‘Lucid Alarm’ is able to ‘enter’ your dreams as an effective prompt to assist in achieving lucidity within your dreams.
• Upload Recorded Dreams for Safekeeping: Users can securely upload their voice recorded dreams to a free DreamsWatch account. Once uploaded, the dreamer is able to listen to their recorded dreams, along with the ability to download their recordings.
The DreamsWatch (Beta) app is available today for free download in the Google Play Store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dreamscloud.dcalarm&hl=en and is compatible with both round and square watch faces.
