Driver of Porsche Charged with DUI After Allegedly Killing Two men in Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- Three weeks after an accident on June 13th, Alyza Rachel Russell, 22, was taken into custody and charged with DUI manslaughter. She allegedly lost control of her 2012 Porsche Panamera and caused an accident killing two men in downtown Fort Lauderdale according to the Miami Herald (7.3.13).
Mackendy Jules, 20, and Samuel Artez Martindale, 35, were hanging out in a parking lot when Russell's vehicle hopped the curb, went through a hedge and struck the two men. A third person was sitting on the curb, but was able to escape as stated in the Miami Herald article.
According to the Miami Herald, Russell faces two counts of DUI manslaughter, two counts of unlawful blood alcohol level manslaughter, one count of DUI property damage and one count of unlawful blood level property damage.
