Drought Crisis in Western U.S. Sees GSA Supplier Make Be-Leaves Increase Offerings
Agoura Hills, CA (PRWEB) June 30, 2015 -- Make Be-Leaves, an official minority supplier, is now approved for a substantial General Services Administration (GSA) contract — increasing product options by more than 300 items. In response to the severe drought conditions in much of the Western United States, Make Be-Leaves increased artificial plantscaping offerings, including new custom UV plantscapes, as an alternate solution to the ongoing conservation challenge.
Make Be-Leaves has been a GSA-approved contractor since 1988, and has worked extensively with a range of government departments over the past 25 years. The company is listed on the GSA Advantage website, and offers a combination of GSA contract products and open market items to provide a complete plantscaping package for both interior and exterior designs.
"I used Make-be-Leaves for our new VA hospital in North Las Vegas, and I was amazed at how realistic the trees (a mix of maple, olive and palm trees) looked when they were delivered to us. I had to tell everyone the trees were in fact not live trees, which surprised a lot of people. Make Be-Leaves has definitely been a superior choice to others we have used in the past," says Ralph Bresee, Interior Designer for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System.
"I am dedicated to finding creative, quality solutions for my clients. The ongoing drought crisis adds an other layer of complexity for the interior designers and landscape architects that we work with, but handling complex plantscaping projects is what we do best," says Susie Ameche, CEO of Make Be-Leaves, who founded the company as a way to channel her creativity with her entrepreneurial spirit. "In my 30 years in the planscaping industry, whether budget, time or location, we've found a way to create the best bespoke life-like plantscapes from traditional plantscaping to modern contemporary designs. "
Make-be-Leaves is among the only GSA suppliers to offer large specimen trees up to 18 feet tall, as well as a wide assortment of artificial plantscaping, and comprehensive installation services on GSA contract and within budget parameters.
