Duo Unsung Lilly to Perform live at Legendary Venue in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 06, 2017 -- British duo Unsung Lilly, wife and wife team, Sera and Frankie Golding-Young are back with a brand new band lineup and are set to take the stage on September 9th with Frankie on the drums for the first time ever! The girls have been hiding away in the Southern California desert recording new material for a year and are celebrating the release of the brand new single ‘Hear Us Roar’which will be debuted at the show.
“I very much see this as ‘the final frontier’ from a social evolution point of view we have evolved as a culture so much over the past Fifty years or so, with women rising up to partnership with men, marriage equality becoming more and more accepted,” said Sera. “‘Hear us Roar’ is all about evolving with these changes and also about how unity is far more powerful than any power one can have on their own. It’s about how if we can take people by the hand, and show them that we can all stand together, linking one by one, we can build a new forever - we can build a new world that is more powerful than it ever was before!”
The band have been described as having epic layers and delays of Florence Welch meets the soulful feel of Prince, with inspirational and empowering lyrics that evoke the essence of Liz Gilbert and Lena Dunham. The talented duo are determined to make a difference with their music after re-emerging from a five piece to a two piece in 2016 they are bringing an epic and inspiring pop sound this time around. “I feel the western world is becoming a better place. However, whilst many of us love this growth, it seems a lot of people have also been becoming more fearful about this change, we need to make a difference.”
