Dusty Wallace Insurance Initiates Charity Drive to Gather Funding to Support a Texas Newborn In Need of a Heart Transplant
Flower Mound, TX (PRWEB) September 14, 2015 -- Dusty Wallace Insurance, a locally owned insurance firm serving areas in and around Flower Mound Texas, is calling on members of the local community to support a new charity drive aimed at saving the life of a newborn girl born with a serious congenital heart defect.
Taylor Jeffries was born in May of this year with a serious cardiac malfunction that affects the left side of her heart. This congenital defect was missed during prenatal testing, and Taylor now faces an uphill battle. Taylor was recently moved to a hospital in Dallas and is now on the waiting list for a new heart. In the meantime, the Jeffries family is dealing with significant financial hardship as the medical bills mount.
The Dusty Wallace Insurance team has taken up Taylor’s cause in an effort to raise funds to support the Jeffries family. “We’re calling on everyone in our community to help us lessen the burden on the Jeffries family during this immensely difficult time,” says Dusty Wallace, owner and manager of Dusty Wallace Insurance. “Together, we can help Taylor and the Jeffries family overcome this tragedy.”
Wallace and his team are actively working both to raise funds to support the Jeffries family and to raise awareness of the challenges associated with newborn heart defects. The Wallace team is contacting business associates and friends alike, and efforts are underway to build a social media website that the team hopes will draw in supporters from all over Texas.
As well as supporting the Jeffries family as they await Taylor’s heart transplant, the Dusty Wallace Insurance team is assisting several other local charities as part of an ongoing “Agents of Change” community improvement campaign. According to Wallace himself, the firm plans to add “at least one new charity every two months” to the list of organizations supported by Dusty Wallace Insurance.
