Dutch Bros. Coffee and Customers Raise $176,922 for Children
Grants Pass, OR (PRWEB) December 24, 2013 -- Dutch Bros. Coffee and customers banded together to raise $176,922 for children on the company’s annual Buck for Kids Day on Dec. 6.
“We’re really fortunate we get to use Dutch Bros. as a force for good,” said President and Co-Founder Travis Boersma. “We try to do all we can to help kids live better lives.”
To raise funds, all 213 locations donated proceeds that day to children’s causes selected by local owner-operators.
Organizations supported ranged from regional Boys & Girls Clubs to Christmas toy collection programs.
This year’s total donation exceeded last year’s $139,000 by $37,922.
Dutch Bros. Coffee donates over $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations and causes, in an effort to achieve its goal of, "Making a difference, one cup at a time.”
