Dwight Jennings to Enhance ATA’s Heavy Trucking Industry Expertise

In the course of 24 years working in corporate motor fleet safety, Dwight has received an array of transportation safety awards, professional certifications and board chairmanships, including the 2002 TMTA Distinguished Safety Award and the 2004 Safety Professional of the Year Award. Mr. Jennings’ resume includes extensive background in fleet and driver safety, the transportation and handling of hazardous materials and in accident investigation.
Mr. Jennings’ heightened involvement will expand on ATA’s focus areas within the context of heavy trucking. His activities will include consulting and testifying on all manner of state and federal regulations as they pertain to the trucking industry, as well as supplying expertise on the applicable standards concerning all types of roadway shipping vehicles. He will also function as a transportation industry consultant, focusing on truck driver risk factors, FMCSA enforcement techniques, hazardous materials transport and safety culture issues. Dwight has also developed successful strategies in preparing for litigation.
