DX Engineering Introduces New 572B Tubes for Power Amplifiers
Tallmadge, Ohio (PRWEB) January 26, 2016 -- Many Amateur Radio amplifiers still operate using specialized vacuum tubes. Problem is, supplies of vintage tubes are drying up and finding quality new tubes has been a challenge. Now, DX Engineering is a source for the popular 572B model power tube, which means operators can finally repair or upgrade their 572B linear amplifiers and put them back into service.
572B tubes are found in several new Ameritron Amplifiers, including the celebrated AL-572 and the AL-811HD. They are also common in a wide range of vintage RF amplifiers. Used in pairs, DX Engineering 572B tubes are capable of generating up to 600 watts of RF transmit power; quads will produce 1,200 watts.
